Acid (アシッド/Ashiddo), or Shuyō no Fushoku (主要の腐食) as it's properly called, is a Rare Fusion Element. Its color palette consists mostly of lime green, with small bits of purple, green and light pale green. Its medal depicts a biohazard symbol.
Acid is a force to be reckoned with even among Rare Elements, capable of dishing out extreme damage as well as trapping opponents. However, this Element is also notable for its tendency to harm the caster with most of its spells, meaning it needs to be used carefully and wisely.
This Element can be obtained by fusing Water (200 D) and Darkness (500 D), costing an additional 200 Diamonds to fuse. In order to unlock, the player must complete Book 6 Chapter 1, then kill 90 enemies in the Basilisk's Bog map. This fusion requires an enhanced Fusion Skill.
Summary[]
Acid is highly unique among Rare Elements, notably due to its unusually impressive damage output, capable of disintegrating anything in the user's path with a good combo. On top of that, some of its spells are great to use in or before combos, or finish off those who are low on health. Beware if you choose to use it though, as this Element also specializes in damaging the caster with most of its spells, becoming more dangerous to the user than any other Element to date as it can tear off large amounts of health if the user isn't careful. Thus, missing can be very punishing. On top of that, the Element's spells aren't all that fast and are supremely adapted to short-medium range. Overall, be careful when you use this Element.
Strengths[]
Elemental[]
- Spells will melt through those of Grass, Earth, Nature, Metal and Sand, destroying them quickly.
- Creates high damage explosions upon contact with Water's spells.
Tactical[]
- Remarkable damage capability.
- Excels at close and medium range.
- Some spells have high combo potential.
- Versatile.
- Certain walls in the maps can be destroyed with Acid spells to get past them.
- Great against multiple enemies, especially in Survival mode.
Weaknesses[]
Elemental[]
- Spells course with electricity/plasma when a Storm or Plasma spell touches them, causing them to electrocute their casters when close, as well as dealing less damage themselves.
- Spells can become frozen upon contact with those of Ice, causing them to stop moving and shatter on impact and deal from less to no damage.
- Spells cannot pass through lava or Lava spells and will be destroyed harmlessly if they touch any of them.
Tactical[]
- Can damage the caster with most of its spells.
- High mana consumption.
- Long cooldowns.
- Useless in aerial combat since spells rely on the ground to activate.
- Most spells are avoidable.
- Ultimate may be difficult to control.
Lore[]
Shuyō no Fushoku is an Element that came to be unexpectedly. Since its discovery, it has been marked as one of, if not the most dangerous Element any Robloxian could use. It focuses on the use and manipulation of the same corrosive, foul smelling substance the waters of the renowned Basilisk’s Bog become without the light of the sun. This substance, known as magiphoric acid, is naturally just musty, murky water (Called “neutralia”) when exposed to the sunlight, but when that is absent, the tiny, poorly understood microbes living inside release luminous, yet corrosive chemicals (Which are filled with neutral, highly sensitive substances) so they can see again, consequently turning the once harmless liquid into a glowing monster of a substance that readily melts through anything it touches with great ease. Crystals, bones (Oddly enough), the microbes and pentaglass (A fragile type of glass designed by old scientist Guy Russ to withstand strong chemicals) are the only things that can survive it and even so, touching them with bare hands afterwards is the height of stupidity.
One day, unknown to most people at first, someone had discovered a type of magic spell that not only prevents the substance from turning back into normal water when exposed to daylight, but also allows its user to manipulate it as if they knew Gensei Nagare. A few people knew the power… but not all of them made it. Unlike other Elements like Genshi Kazan or Jō Hokkyokusei, Shuyō no Fushoku cannot stop the liquid from harming the user when using it, making it highly dangerous and risky to use as one may end up harming or at extreme cases even killing themself trying to use it. If one does wish to take that risk, water can become neutralia when magiphoros microbes (Mostly found in plants that grow in areas like the bog) enter it and are given time to adapt to it. Sunlight must then be blocked off from it (Shuyō no Yūutsu can help with this), and the third, most unpleasant part involves feeding it 200 diamonds and taking a few deep breaths of its fumes while the magic is still swirling inside it. Once you have it, avoid taking it into battle until you understand it well enough (And are prepared to lose at least a bit of skin doing so). Use it to your advantage if your opponent uses Gensei Tochi or any natural Element, and stay clear of electric or wetter Elements.
Spells[]
Zone | Response |
---|---|
Spell 1 | Gastric Shower (ガストリックシャワー/Gasutorikkushawā) |
Spell Type | Projectile |
Spell Description | "Throw a wave of acidic fluid upon any target nearby" |
Spell Info | The caster creates a 30-stud diameter puddle of acid on the ground by their left, which then expels a long, arcing wave of acid into the air to land wherever their mouse cursor is in a limited range. Upon splashing onto the ground (Or any solid surface), it creates a 37-stud diameter puddle of acid as well as several 12-stud diameter puddles around itself. Enemies who are hit by the wave itself will receive 122 damage per half second while also being unable to move until the wave fully disforms, dealing a total of 366 damage by itself. Anyone touching the puddles will take 35 damage over time and have their screens tinted green (Both effects persist for 2.5 seconds after leaving the acid). The puddles last roughly 4 seconds before disappearing. This spell is a bit slow and can be easily dodged, requiring the caster to aim carefully and use it only when and where it is guaranteed to hit.
|
Spell 2 | Sour Temperament (サワーテンペラメント/Sawātenperamento) |
Spell Type | Defensive |
Spell Description | "Disappear in a large burst of acid, then reappear in a bigger burst. Be careful, though..." |
Spell Info | The caster locks themselves in place and readies a punch before delivering the blow to the ground, disappearing in a 60-stud column burst of acid, then reappearing roughly 0.75 seconds later in a 70-stud diameter burst, taking 275 damage in the process. The first burst deals 150 damage and stuns enemies whilst lobbing 4-6 balls of acid into the air onto the surrounding area, each dealing 55 damage and leaving 12-stud diameter puddles where they land. The second burst deals 250 damage and knocks the enemies back with a 1.5 second trip while also leaving a puddle of acid its size which the caster emerges from. Both bursts can destroy most projectiles.
|
Spell 3 | Melting Rain (メルティングレイン/Merutingurein) |
Spell Type | AoE |
Spell Description | "Create a brief rain of acid from the sky above you, covering your surroundings in dangerous puddles" |
Spell Info | The caster spawns a giant green cloud in the air above them, which rains down a maximum of 15 acid balls upon a 45-stud radius around the casting location, each becoming a 19-stud puddle of acid on contact with the ground. As the cloud disappears, the puddles will last about 5 seconds, dealing 55 damage over time to enemies who touch them as well as tinting their screens green (Both effects persist for 2.5 seconds after leaving the acid). The caster and their allies can be hurt by the puddles, but only take 40 damage over time rather than the usual 55.
|
Spell 4 | Great Eater (グレートイーター/Gurētoītā) |
Spell Type | Summon |
Spell Description | "Send out an acid monster that travels through the ground ahead of you, trapping everything it passes under in acidic pods" |
Spell Info | The caster’s hands splash with acid for a moment before they slam them onto the ground in front of them (Dealing 200 damage to themselves in the process), releasing a pulse of acid that travels along the ground and all other surfaces in its way at a pretty quick speed for 2 seconds before fading, leaving a trail of acid where it travels. Enemies who are hit by this will become trapped in acidic green pods that emerge from the acid for 2.5 seconds before releasing them, dealing 80 damage over time to enemies inside while also putting a dark green heavy fog effect and splatters on their screens. Holding their click (Maximum charge at 2.5 seconds) allows the caster to increase the speed of the acid pulse and, thus, the maximum distance it may travel (Told by the arrows on their screen only they can see), but also the damage it may deal back to the caster (350 maximum).
|
Spell 5 | Acid Basilisk (アシッドバシリスク/Ashiddobashirisuku) |
Spell Type | Ultimate |
Spell Description | "Summon the mighty Acid Basilisk, who sends you on a dangerous joyride upon a giant acid monster that wreaks havoc wherever it goes" |
Spell Info | The caster creates a massive puddle of acid, from which the gigantic Acid Basilisk emerges with a great splash, which takes the moment to stab its sword into the puddle before disappearing. The caster then rides a huge, acid-constructed shark-like monster created by the explosion that dives forward a small distance 8 times, leaving a large pool of acid on the ground and dealing 125 damage to the caster with each impact with the ground. Every slam deals about 140 damage to enemies hit by it and trips them while the puddles deal 25 damage over time. For the 8th and final slam, the monster bucks the caster off high into the air and leaps higher than normal, disappearing into the ground it lands upon with another giant explosion that deals a final 655 damage, leaving a massive puddle and several smaller puddles around it behind. Enemies who are tripped can get back up after 2.5 seconds after they stop getting attacked. This particular Ultimate can cover a lot of ground due to the range of each leap, whilst covering most of the landscape in acid.
|
Chemical (ケミカル/Kemikaru) is one of Acid's Subelements. Its color palette consists of mostly pale dull green, with some small bits of pink and white. Its medal would depict a beaker filled up with some kind of liquid.
Zone | Response |
---|---|
Spell 1 | Splash Formula (スプラッシュフォーミュラ/Supurasshufōmyura) |
Spell Type | Projectile |
Spell Description | "Toss a mysterious chemical, containing magiphorus microbes, which applies a random weakness to your target" |
Spell Info | The caster creates a ball of transparent, pale dull green liquid in their hand and tosses it. The ball is bound by gravity and bursts into a 4 second puddle on impact, dealing 150 damage and covering anyone who was caught in the small blast in the substance for around 8 seconds, dealing 12 damage over time as well as applying one of the following effects:
The effect that is applied is entirely random and not selectable by the caster, and there is no way of telling which effect was chosen. All enemies who touch the puddle (Including the caster) will be afflicted with the effects as well (Persists for 2.5 seconds after leaving it).
|
Spell 2 | Chemical Reaction (ケミカルリアクション/Kemikaruriakushon) |
Spell Type | Transformation |
Spell Description | "Douse yourself with a mysterious chemical that fills you with energy... but also burns. Horribly" |
Spell Info | The caster forms a ball of a similar substance to the one of Splash Formula between their hands, in front of their chest, then makes it pop, splashing the substance all over themselves for 8 seconds. During that duration, the caster will take 15 damage over time and have their defense reduced by 30%, but their damage will be increased by 65%, and their stamina will become unlimited. Any teammates/party members who are within 5 studs of the caster will also receive the effects.
|
Spell 3 | Splatter Burst (スプラッタバースト/Supurattabāsuto) |
Spell Type | AoE |
Spell Description | "Spill a dangerously reactive chemical upon the ground, then trigger an explosive effect in a line in front of you" |
Spell Info | The caster spills a liquid on the ground (Similar to the one from the previous two spells), creating a 10-stud diameter puddle in front of them, then drops some sort of strange material into it, resulting in a straight line of medium-sized, simultaneous explosions in the direction they’re facing, dealing 240 damage to themselves and 350 damage to enemies who were hit while also putting splatters on their screens for 5 seconds and knocking them a very short distance into the air with a 2 second trip.
|
Corrosion (コーロシオン/Kōroshion) is Acid's other Subelement. Its color palette consists of several shades of cactus green and dark lime green. Its medal would depict some sort of blocky material disintegrating.
Zone | Response |
---|---|
Spell 1 | Road Rust (ロードラスト/Rōdorasuto) |
Spell Type | Projectile |
Spell Description | "Spit a corrosive substance that slowly corrodes the land around where it hits" |
Spell Info | The caster cups their hands in front of their face, from which they then fire a small blast of dark lime green liquid and particles that creates a small spot of corrosion on any surface it hits, which quickly begins to spread onto its surroundings for 6 seconds until it is roughly 30 studs in diameter. Anything that steps onto this will take 55 damage over time, along with the usual tint effect. If the blast were to hit an enemy directly, the enemy will take 150 damage, then 15 damage over time, as well as suffering the tint effect and leaving corroded ground wherever they travel.
|
Spell 2 | Armor Dissolvent (アーマーディゾルベント/Āmādizorubento) |
Spell Type | Contact |
Spell Description | "Enravel your fist in a corrosive substance and apply it to a single enemy, reducing their defense for a short time" |
Spell Info | The caster’s arm glows cactus green with a corrosive substance as they punch forward with that arm. If an enemy was close enough, the caster’s fist will plant onto the enemy’s chest, knocking them down with a 1.5 second trip whilst dealing 200 damage to them. Afterward, the target will take 9 damage over time and have their defense reduced by 50% for 7 seconds.
|
Spell 3 | Devourer (デバウラー/Debaurā) |
Spell Type | Summon |
Spell Description | "Summon a mysterious, corrosive beast from below that attacks the nearest enemy in its range" |
Spell Info | The caster creates a 50-stud diameter circle of cactus green corroded ground in front of them, from which three giant tentacles emerge and wave about for 3 seconds before disappearing along with the corrosion. If an enemy is nearby, the tentacles will strike the foe once each at impossible-to-dodge speeds, dealing 105 damage each while dealing 90 splash damage to enemies within 7 studs of the target. Should the enemy be killed by this attack (And is small enough), they will be grabbed and brought into the corrosion before the tentacles vanish. The caster is locked in place for a second while summoning the corrosion.
