Arcanis Hydrius is an Arcanis Art based around water. It is capable of drowning enemies.
It is a counterpart of Arcanis Pyronis.

Arcanis Hydrius was a powerful Ancient Art wielded by a wizard named Jax, a 14 year old teenager that had used to use only common water magic. He lived in a small village named Stonelock, where he had barely any money or resources, so he had a sad childhood of bullying and pain.
A couple months later, Jax decided one day that he wanted to go on a walk. During said walk, he stumbled upon a blue glowing orb that was laying in a puddle. Curious (And hypnotized), he picked up the mysterious orb with a shocked and surprised look on his face. He at first thought it was some strange toy and tried to drop it, but right before he had a chance to, he witnessed it absorbing into his hand. He began to feel a weird, ultimately worrying sensation and decided to head home.
Along the way, he sighted a little kid being bullied by a couple of 15 year olds with their fancy gravity and electricity magic. He felt bad for the kid because, as a kid himself, he was bullied too. So he went to stand up for the child; He was immediately laughed at by the bullies and pushed around by them... until Jax had enough. He began to command his old water magic, but what came out instead was a massive, uncontrollable blast of enhanced water magic that the bullies had no idea was coming. After getting back up from the blast, he realized that the orb that soaked into him earlier wasn't a toy, but some sort of magical (And probably extremely old) orb that he absorbed into his veins. Shocked, the little kid thanked him and ran home terrified.
Ever since then, Jax decided to continue using his new powers for good. Nowadays, he defends the village he lives in from raiders, and is now called Jax the Defender. He fights for good, and only good, believing he can demolish even greater evil that lurked around the corner...
