Arcanis Malignus is an Arcanis Art based around darkness, chaos and reapers. and also considered a Lost Art. It manipulates a forbidden magic that is capable of obliterating everything in its path.

Arcanis Malignus is a counterpart of Arcanis Lychnus.

Story[]

Arcanis Malignus is the Ancient Art of a young dark sorcerer who has caused multiple destruction and casualties. His name is known across the entire world, Zaroth. He was a very strong magic user with an enhanced curse of darkness within him, but which was killed by the justice that seeked it. His departure from the world left a dark orb that was safely hidden, and since then, this Art was forbidden from use and was not even allowed to be spoken about.

In the past…

Zaroth, as a child with no powers, lived in a very poor village and was often bullied by people who did possess magic. One day however, while out on a walk out of shame, he discovered a small cave leading him to an old room. Inside, he immediately found an unstably glowing orb. He wanted to turn back, but something about it was beckoning him to come closer. Consumed by temptation and grudge, he approached the orb and reached out at it with his bare hands. But the moment he set his hand on the ball of unusual energy, it vanished with a shockwave of energy that sent the enhanced dark energy right through his veins. As the boy groggily stood back up, he felt that he gained the strongest magic of all time... It just felt like it. The energy filling him up take a fraction of what control he had over himself away from him. The minute he returned home that night, he grabbed an old spellbook in his attic and attempts to figure out about his new abilities, granted he was actually given any...

That was the night Zaroth disappeared...

Just a month later, he returned from shadows nobody knew and rose to take revenge on everyone who underestimated him, as well as rain chaos upon others. None of the village's greatest mages were able to defeat him, and those who tried to flee the chaos just ended up killed or at least brutalized by his enhanced dark powers. No one stood a chance against the new powerful being, and ever since he'd left the remains of his town, he began appearing on many newspapers after multiple village and town suddenly devolved to ruins overnight. Many heroic magic users who attempted to stand up to him only got themselves killed, And the chaos would go on and on...

Until many days later, when he then finally faced what he assumed was just another hero...

”So it’s you, that notorious dark wizard. I’ve been longing to find you for a long time, but don’t take this personally... It’s my job to defeat you! This is for everyone who has suffered to you!” Said the hero.

“Pathetic. I’ve already suffered to everyone... And now it’s their turn to suffer, and I’ll make sure you are totally obliterated by the time my newly enhanced powers reach their fullest potential!" The notorious dark wizard replied. "You utter fool, coming here knowing you won’t stand a chance...”

“If you try attacking me, I swear you’ll lose this battle!” Said the hero.

“Heh. People like you still spout such pathetic words? Hell if I know...” Zaroth turned his back the way it should be facing, an eye full of piercing dark energy glowing from within. “Well, then. Come and attack me with your weak abilities.”

As a long fight went on, nobody was anywhere close to the grave, as it seemed their abilities clashed so violently that it was impossible to tell what was stronger than the other. Eventually, Zaroth decided now shall be the battle's end, and so he began to desperately unleash his full power... But the hero knew what was coming and charged forward, resulting in an easy clash in the middle of their deadly displays of magic. The Notorious Wizard then found out that the hero had used his seemingly light-based abilities to create a beam, so his last spell pushed back with projectiles before following with a large beam of his own. The the resulting explosion that grew out of control afterwards engulfed the whole battlefield, and the hero was too blinded by the dust and light to watch as his enemy slowly vaporized.

Legend has it, a legend unknown to our great hero, Zaroth died because of his brave final move.

All that was left in the scorched sand was an unstable orb. As soon as the nearby villagers found it, it was hidden underground, hopefully forever. It was now that Arcanis Malignus, the horrible magic used by Zaroth, was now being considered a lost Ancient Art... But now who will find and wield the enhanced darkness within?

P.S. There is no way anyone can find it because it is not in EBG.

Endarkened Barrage Multi-Projectile Shoot multiple dark orbs at the opponent, pulling opponents in upon hit. Just like all mult-projectile moves, the user summons multiple projectiles at the opponent. It will then pull the opponents in like a black hole and explodes after 3 seconds. None 150 mana 5 seconds
Decaying Slash Contact Spell The user summons a dark energy scythe and slash at the opponent. The user grabs the opponent and summons a dark energy scythe. Then slashes the opponent, dealing great damage. It would instantly kill them if they have 1/10 or less of their HP. 500 shards 300 manas 12 seconds
Compressed Darkness Orb Projectile Shoot a huge projectile, blinding opponents upon impact. The user cast a big circle in front of them and summon a huge projectile. Upon impact, it will release a sphere that will constantly grow until it reaches 5 seconds. It will blind the opponent for 4 seconds if affected. 1000 shards 300 manas 8 seconds
Dark Zone Shielding Creates a sphere around you and explodes, deflecting incoming projectiles. The user raises it’s arm and summons a sphere around them. After charging, the sphere explodes, dealing damage around opponents and also deflecting the projectiles. 1500 shards 250 manas 25 seconds
Dual Malevolent Devastation Ultimate Shoots out two massive continuous beam on each side that engulfs enemies in pure darkness. The user charges up for 3 seconds and unleashes two massive beams from each side that last 10 seconds, dealing moderate to devastating damage per second while inflicting blindness. The user can still aim while the beam continues to fire but can be difficult to aim directly because of being very slow to turn. Only canceled by light-based ultimate. 2000 shards 1000 manas 2 minutes
