Storm (ストーム/Sutōmu), or Gensei Raimei (原生雷鳴) as it's properly called, is a Common Starter Element. Its color palette consists of light neon blue/cyan. Its medal depicts multiple lightning bolts.

Storm is a fast Zoner Element, consisting of tricky, easy-to-use spells that act quickly and are hard to dodge with fine aiming. It is mainly meant to be deployed for mid-range battles.

This Element costs 200 D if it is not chosen as the player's Starter Element. In the old version, it costed 300 D. It also used to not be a Starter Element.

Summary[]

Storm is a very fast and powerful Element with the capability to shut down any combo, escape from any situation, or catch unsuspecting enemies off guard and disorient them. With three spells capable of paralyzing targets (Discluding the ultimate), Storm can easily trap players or stop their spells before they're cast, while simultaneously being particularly deadly against stationary or immobile enemies. Its Triple Flash spell is great for both escaping danger or rendering enemies helpless, able to strike three times in a row with a single spell. Its raw power is also decent, and consistent stunning will give a Storm user the one up in any encounter. Coupled with a quick, cheap Transportation Spell with only a 5 second cooldown, this Element will confuse opponents and grant users joy once they learn the proper way to use it. However, this remains an Element with insufficient range and poor close range defense, which is quite natural for a standard Zoner Element. As well, some of its spells may be easily dodgable by fast moving opponents with either high speed stats, high level movement skills or transportation spells. Nevertheless, Storm is a very fun and fast Element that, when mastered, can evade and/or ruin everything an opponent has worked for.

Strengths[]

Elemental[]

  • Storm spells will electrify Water, Wind, Acid, Slime and Metal spells upon contact, causing them to electrocute their casters for 200 damage when they come close while also removing their ability to damage the Storm caster.
    • In Wind’s case, the electricity will also course through the wind, turn it dark grey, and paralyze the Wind user with the shock should they be close enough to be electrocuted. The Wind spell is then ended early (Not the case with Wind’s ultimate).
  • Storm’s spells will shatter Aurora’s upon contact, as well as overload Technology’s with energy, causing the latter to explode without dealing damage.

Tactical[]

  • Medium ranged spells.
  • Fast Element.
  • Good damage.
  • Can catch opponents off guard and strike from anywhere with Thunder Call.
  • Triple Flash is useful for escaping danger or disorienting enemies.
  • Many spells can paralyze, leaving foes open for follow-up attacks.
  • Quick Bolts can be used repeatedly with its small mana cost and short cooldown.
  • Chain damage, which is helpful against hordes.

Weaknesses[]

Elemental[]

  • Earth and Sand spells will draw Storm spells towards them and absorb them, causing the Storm user to waste mana. The bright colors of Spectrum will rather curve Storm spells away.

Tactical[]

  • No far range spells.
  • Poor close range defense.
  • Struggles against fast opponents.

Lore[]

Gensei Raimei is unique from the other 5 Prime Elements, as it runs off the thundering rage of lightning and thunder. This is a rather dangerous and deadly Element that can turn the tide of a battle single handedly with ease. Experienced users can create spells of from over 50,000 volts, to 100,000, to even more than that, often delivering nasty burns and paralysis to those unlucky enough to be struck with those volts. To pick up this Element is scary enough, requiring one to be struck by lightning with the possession of 200 diamonds at hand; If he/she has enough, the diamonds will lend their power into them and redirect all the electricity into their powerlines, safely absorbing the bolt and lending the mage Gensei Raimei powers. Gensei Raimei is considered a great member of nature, and was responsible for the unexpected creation of Gensei Sahohime, a fellow Prime Element which represents the higher Element of Genshi Botai, and for making a line of other things possible.

The very first Gensei Raimei user was the Thunder God Zeus, who was a very selfish, misunderstood and secretive Supreme who knew little people who he considered himself friends with. Wanting to spread an army of worshippers, Zeus lended Storm to a few mages chosen by him, making them promise it wouldn’t go viral; A Promise that was broken as the power consumed them. Even after the resulting outrage, Gensei Raimei is still highly common today. Liquid and metal-based Elements like Gensei Nagare are common targets for Gensei Raimei, which is capable of transferring electricity through their spells to hopefully shock their casters. Gensei Raimei’s lighting also seems to take over Gensei Teikiatsu’s spells and destroy auroras as well. Caution must be taken using this Element against Gensei Tochi, though, as it’s always a shame when a perfect lighting bolt ends up drawn to a rocky wall and wasted powerlessly.

Spells[]

Zone Response
Spell 1 Thunder Call (サンダーコール/Sandākōru)
Spell Type AoE
Spell Description "Call a giant lightning bolt from the sky to strike and paralyze unsuspecting enemies"
Spell Info The caster reaches upwards into the sky and a medal appears where they click (Has a limited range). 0.5 seconds after the caster first clicked, a huge lightning bolt will strike down from the sky at the selected location, creating an electric explosion that deals about 300 damage and stuns enemies hit for a second. Any foe directly hit by the bolt will be dealt 400 damage and cause the bolt’s strike to last 2 seconds rather than its usual 0.5 second duration, keeping that enemy stunned the whole time. By the time the bolt disappears, a burnt circle will be there on the ground. The caster can also hold their click to charge the move for up to 3 seconds, causing the medal to follow their cursor and delay the bolt strike, as well as move its location around. The spell will deal 10 more damage and consume 15 more mana for each half second charged.
  • It consumes 250 Mana and has a 5-second cooldown.
Spell 2 Quick Bolts (クイックボルト/Kuikkuboruto)
Spell Type Multi-Projectile
Spell Description "Summon a trio of thunderclouds to quickly fire hard-to-dodge bolts of lightning"
Spell Info The caster creates three small thunderclouds, one above their head and the other two on either side of them. After a half second, each cloud fires a small lightning bolt (One after the other) at where the caster’s cursor points. Each bolt creates a small explosion upon contact with any solid and deals 66 damage. It isn’t a very damaging spell, but can be used quite frequently without too many consequences. The caster can move, attack, use skills and cast other spells while this one is active.
  • It consumes 140 Mana and has a 3-second cooldown.
Spell 3 Triple Flash (トリプルフラッシュ/Toripurufurasshu)
Spell Type Transportation
Spell Description "Move at the speed of thunder 3 times, temporarily disabling foes in your way"
Spell Info The caster instantly teleports a short distance into any direction they aim, then again immediately after until they have teleported three times. The caster travels so fast that brief cyan afterimages can be seen in their previous location every time they teleport, with an equally brief electricity bolt linking them to the afterimage. This means that if the caster teleports through an enemy and the bolt makes contact with it, the enemy will take 50 damage and become stunned for a split second while also canceling any spells they were trying to cast at the time.
  • It consumes 187 Mana and has a 5-second cooldown.
Spell 4 Soaring Harbinger (ソアリングハービンガー/Soaringuhābingā)
Spell Type Summon
Spell Description "Summon a controllable thundercloud which strikes paralyzing lightning upon the ground below itself"
Spell Info In the air some distance in front of them, the caster summons a fairly sizable storm cloud which then attempts to follow their cursor, traveling at a decent speed and firing a lightning bolt down at the ground below it every half second until it disperses after 10 seconds. Each bolt strike creates a decent explosion and deals about 27 damage while also paralyzing targets for 1.5 seconds (Resets with each additional strike). The caster can cast additional spells, move and perform melee attacks and skills while the cloud is active.
  • It consumes 300 Mana and has a 6-second cooldown.
Spell 5 Enraged Heavens (エンラージドヘブンズ/Enrājidohebunzu)
Spell Type Ultimate
Spell Description "Call upon the assistance of the Storm of Zeus to bring a devastating torrent of thunder upon your foes"
Spell Info The caster zips high into the sky (In a teleport similar to Triple Flash and Quick Flash) and turns the sky dark grey, darkening the world as a result. After a few booms and flashes of thunder (4 seconds after they first clicked), their cursor guides a barrage of massive lighting strikes from the sky (25 total) which each create an electric explosion on contact, dealing 60 damage and paralyzing enemies who are hit. Each strike successfully landed will also inflict 50 chain damage onto foes near those who are struck and stunning them in place. The caster is completely invincible for the entire duration of the spell, being surrounded in a ball of cyan electricity. Once all 25 bolts are fired, the sky returns to normal and the caster teleports back onto the ground where the spell was first casted.
  • It consumes 1000 Mana and has an 85-second cooldown.

Lightning (ライトニング/Raitoningu) is one of Storm's Subelements. Its color palette is the same, but with the addition of being mostly light yellow. Its medal would depict a large lightning bolt than the multiple depicted on Storm's medal.

Zone Response
Spell 1 Volt Strike (ヴォルトストライク/Vu~orutosutoraiku)
Spell Type Projectile
Spell Description "Charge and fire a sizable lightning bolt from your hands to instantaneously strike a target"
Spell Info The caster charges a surge of electricity in their hands which expels an instantaneously traveling lightning bolt that travels a mild distance, creating an electric explosion upon hitting something or its maximum range. The explosion deals 190 damage and paralyzes enemies for half a second. If the bolt directly hits a target, it will deal 250 damage and keep the enemy paralyzed and frozen in place for 2.5 seconds while tinting their screen yellow for that duration.
  • It consumes 250 Mana and has a 6-second cooldown.
Spell 2 Quick Flash (クイックフラッシュ/Kuikkufurasshu)
Spell Type Transportation
Spell Description "Move at the speed of lightning in any direction"
Spell Info Similarly to Triple Flash, the caster dashes a very short distance at lightning speed in the direction they’re moving. Unlike Triple Flash, the caster can only teleport once per click and doesn’t travel quite as far, and they also cannot damage enemies by dashing past or through them.
  • It consumes 65 Mana and has a 1-second cooldown, meaning that it can be used repeatedly. However, if the caster uses it too much, they may not have enough mana to use powerful spells or combos.
Spell 3 Ring of Lightning (リングオブライトニング/Ringuoburaitoningu)
Spell Type AoE
Spell Description "Summon lightning strikes in a cross formation around yourself"
Spell Info The caster strikes lightning into the sky and half a second later, rows of three lightning bolts strike in a cross formation around them, shaking nearby players’ screens as each four bolts explode on the ground. Each bolt deals 135 damage and tints enemies’ screens yellow for a split second.
  • It consumes 300 Mana and has a 7-second cooldown.

Flash (フラッシュ/Furasshu) is Storm's other Subelement. Its color palette consists of very light cyan and white. Its medal would depict a bright, sparking flash of light.

Zone Response
Spell 1 Blinding Thunder (ブラインディングサンダー/Buraindingusandā)
Spell Type Projectile
Spell Description "Fire a stunning bolt of energy at neck-breaking speed"
Spell Info The caster creates a brief, growing flash of light above their head for a quarter of a second before it shoots an instant travel speed bolt of light cyan lightning that creates another bright flash of lightning upon impact with the ground. Enemies hit by this will receive 95 damage and be frozen in place for a split second, with any spells they were in the process of casting at the time being cancelled out.
  • It consumes 100 Mana and has a 4-second cooldown.
Spell 2 Super Flash (スーパーフラッシュ/Sūpāfurasshu)
Spell Type Transportation
Spell Description "Dash at the speed of light to any location around you, with enough energy to blind those around you"
Spell Info The caster glows brightly for a split second and teleports towards their cursor location with a mild maximum range, creating a brief, bright flash of light stretching from casting location to destination that blinds enemies caught in either of them for a second, but doesn’t deal damage. Any enemies the caster managed to dash through will be dealt 265 damage and a 1 and a half second stun and blind while having any spells they were trying to cast at the time cancelled out.
  • It consumes 200 Mana and has a 6-second cooldown.
Spell 3 Thunderous Flicker (サンダラスフリッカー/Sandarasufurikkā)
Spell Type AoE
Spell Description "Blind enemies in a small area with a bright boom of light and thunder"
Spell Info Wherever the caster’s cursor is, stormclouds gather around in a circle. Almost three quarters of a second later, a bright flash of light is unleashed from the clouds, making them disappear as it fades. Any enemies caught in the flash will not be damaged, but will suffer a 2.5 second blind on top of a 7 second screen blur and ringing.
  • It consumes 300 Mana and has a 9-second cooldown.
