Time (タイム/Taimu), or Shuyō no Mojiretsu (主要の文字列) as it's properly called, is a Rare Element. It's color palette consists of different shades of green, light grey and shining white. Its medal depicts a pocket watch with its hands pointing at the 12:00 spot.

Time has tricky spells that have stunning capabilities and unique effects, many of which are good for various situations, which can be very painful to deal with if used effectively. Despite this, Time has few spells that actually deal damage, meaning that it is best used in combos with other Elements.

This Element costs 500 Diamonds to obtain. In order to unlock, the player must defeat the boss Chrono in the Phoenix Tail Coliseum at the end of Book 1. They must then kill a maximum of 35 enemies in any Survival map.

Summary[]

Time may have few damage dealers, but it does possess several tricky mechanics that make up for it, making it a great accessory for higher damage dealers like Fire and Lava. When used correctly, Time's spells make it very easy to perform combos without interruptions or much risk of enemies escaping, including stuns and delayed damage. Continuum Disruption is a handy spell when opponents are close, trying to get a melee combo in, allowing the user to easily mix weapon attacks and spells to create a deadly combo without interruption. Chronostasis is a very useful spell to have as well, having an infinite range and the ability to transport the user and damage enemies at the same time. The Element also possesses a decent healing spell that replenishes more health the longer it is charged. While it is great for supporting allies and driving enemies up the wall, it probably isn't something you should use by itself unless you have the Kinetic Subelement, as otherwise this Element lacks much direct offensive capability.

Strengths[]

Elemental[]

  • Wind, Light, Darkness, Space and Physical spells will be slowed down or frozen in time upon contact with Time spells, unable to cause damage or effects and with projectiles often being destroyed afterward.

Tactical[]

  • Spells are very good at stopping and keeping opponents from having the upper hand.
  • Spells also have tricky effects which make it hard for some enemies to fight against.
  • Useful in parties and in team servers.
  • Decent cast times; Shattering Timepiece and Chronostasis activate very quickly and can catch opponents off guard.
  • Fast Element.
  • Two main spells can be charged to increase their efficiency.
  • Great for getting away from enemies, stopping them from escaping, or tricking them.
  • Ultimate affects all enemies on the map.

Weaknesses[]

Elemental[]

  • Spells are consumed and destroyed by Void and Chaos spells upon contact.

Tactical[]

  • Spells are hard to fight with at far range.
  • Few spells actually deal damage; Spells are less offensive and require other spells from Subelements or other Elements to make powerful.
    • Not even the Ultimate deals any damage by itself.
  • Continuum Disruption and Temporal Regeneration take a moment to actually do anything and can be cancelled out last second by a fast-enough attack.
  • Long cooldowns.

Lore[]

Shuyō no Mojiretsu is one of the first Elements to come into existence, and is today still the oldest Rare Element existing. Essentially the fabric of the flow, movement and progression of everything, Shuyō no Mojiretsu is considered an essential Element that would cease the existence of everything should it itself not exist. It first came to be when the first Time Lord, Grandfather Eternity, created it to be able to control time and make sure nobody could mess with it with their own powers. Eventually, it was passed down to the present Time Lords, who have been the authorities of time ever since. However, nobody knew of their true potential until the evil king Malmonger and his army of monsters breached Limbo and tried to invade Roblox, where the lords sealed them all back in Limbo via a Time spell called Groundhog Day (Or GD), which would keep them all in an eternal time loop. After their work, some lucky few have been able to grasp the Element for themselves using 500 Diamonds by focusing their mind on the currently flowing time around them, putting all of their mental effort into taking hold of the time strings until time stops around them; That is the sign that the opportunity to take control of it is close. Much practice is needed to actually grasp it, though.

It is unknown if the Time Lords are aware of others’ ability to potentially learn this Element and use it for themselves, but it is safe to say that while one can possess control over time, only the Time Lords, the Element’s founders, may have total control over time, allowing them to perform feats lesser Shuyō no Mojiretsu users just cannot no matter how skilled they are. This Element, as one can imagine, is highly abusable, so the most-moral tend to make sure the Element is only used for good, and never for evil, as that would bring a terrible omen upon the world, and possibly the whole universe. Shuyō no Mojiretsu is also considered the “Father” of Shuyō no Kagayaku and Yūutsu, having existed before either of them did and being able to control them if they are used to revolt. Shuyō no Mojiretsu spells are able to bend time on them, as well as the winds, space and all physical movement to stop them hitting. However, since Shuyō no Mojiretsu is considered an essential aspect of order, the absolute embodiment of light and dark conflict and rebellion, leaving nothing in its wake, eats away at time and any that is manipulated. A bane of all order is also a deadly weapon against the forces of Shuyō no Mojiretsu, consuming it from the inside out until nothing remains.

Spells[]

Zone Response
Spell 1 Shattering Timepiece (シャッタリングタイムピース/Shattaringutaimupīsu)
Spell Type Projectile
Spell Description "Toss an ancient temporal detonator that will attach onto anything it hits and detonate after a countdown"
Spell Info The caster quickly pulls out a glowing magic clock with a handle attached and tosses it. Upon impact with anything, be it a wall/floor, solid object or entity, the clock latches itself onto the target and begins counting down from five seconds (Seen as the clock hand revolves around the clock face until it returns to 12). Once that time runs out, the clock shatters and explodes in an explosion of time shards with a sizable blast radius, dealing 300 damage and freezing targets in time for a split second. The clock also deals 20 damage to enemies it hits and latches onto. Its glow becomes brighter when it sticks to something.
  • It consumes 226 Mana and has a 7-second cooldown.
Spell 2 Continuum Disruption (コンティニュアム ディスラプション/Kontinyuamu Disurapushon)
Spell Type AoE
Spell Description "Create a brief dome of stopped time around yourself which you and your allies can move around in unhindered"
Spell Info The caster sparks with green & light grey energy for a second before a 47-stud diameter dome of energy appears around them. Enemies caught inside this dome will be frozen in time, unable to do anything while their screens receive a slight grey tint. Any enemies that walk into the dome while it is still active will also become frozen half a second later. The dome normally lasts for 2 seconds before it shrinks and disappears. However, the caster can hold their click for up to 4 extra seconds to make the dome last longer (Maximum duration is 5.5 seconds), though this won’t increase its size.
  • It consumes 300 Mana (+6 per each second charged) and has a 10-second cooldown after the dome disappears.
Spell 3 Chronostasis (クロノスタシス/Kuronosutashisu)
Spell Type Transportation
Spell Description "Create a spot in time that you may instantly warp back to after a second click"
Spell Info The caster creates a spectral copy of themselves right at where they were when the spell was casted, keeping the pose they were in as well. The copy will stay there for 60 seconds before disappearing, unable to be destroyed or affected in any way by players and entities. If the caster uses the spell again before the copy disappears, they will be teleported straight back to the copy in the exact place and pose they were in when the copy was placed, making the copy disappear early in the process. An explosion of green electric energy occurs in the location of both caster and copy when this happens, which deals 230 damage, knocks enemies back a small amount, and freezes them in time for a split second before resuming them with a 1 second trip.
  • It consumes 50 mana to set up, then 260 to use, and has a 2-second cooldown upon setting up (8 seconds if successfully used).
Spell 4 Temporal Regeneration (テンポラリーリジェネラートイオン/Tenporarīrijenerātion)
Spell Type Healing
Spell Description "Fast forward time to heal yourself and nearby allies"
Spell Info The caster poses for one second, speeding up the lifespans of their injuries, as well as those sustained by any teammates/party members within 5 studs, healing them by 100 health. If the caster holds their click, they can charge the spell for up to 10 seconds to delay the healing, but also increase the amount of health gained to a maximum of 250.
  • It consumes 400 Mana (+5 per each second charged) and has a 12-second cooldown.
Spell 5 Eternal World (エターナルワールド/Etānaruwārudo)
Spell Type Ultimate
Spell Description "Summon Grandfather Eternity, the first Time Lord, which slows down time in the entire map while you move faster"
Spell Info The caster summons a massive green portal in the sky, from which Grandfather Eternity (A gigantic grandfather clock) emerges and begins spinning fast above the caster, then gradually slowing down until it is moving slowly. Once the slowdown occurs, time in the entire map will be slowed down, causing all enemies to move, attack and cast spells much slower than normal while the caster moves and attacks much faster. All affected players will also have their screens warped and monochromic for the spell’s duration. After roughly 15 seconds, Grandfather Eternity will start accelerating in spinning speed as it rises back into the portal, closing it behind itself and lifting the effects of the spell.
  • It consumes 650 Mana and has a 120-second cooldown.

Kinetic (キネティック/Kinetikku) is one of Time's Subelements. Its color palette replaces the grey and white parts with yellowish green and lime. Its medal would depict multiple balls swinging from strings.

Zone Response
Spell 1 Kinetic Rockets (キネティックロケット/Kinetikkuroketto)
Spell Type Projectile
Spell Description "Fire multiple blasts of energy that reduce in speed as they travel, dealing more damage depending on their current kinetic energy"
Spell Info The caster opens a portal of green & yellowish green energy in their hands, which three orbs of energy fire from (One 0.5 seconds after the other). Each orb starts out flying relatively quickly, but begins to rapidly decrease in movement speed until 2 seconds after being fired, in which the orbs explode. The orbs deal more damage to enemies the faster they were traveling at the time an enemy was hit, with the range being 108 to 28 damage per orb. Each explosion deals 100 damage.
  • It consumes 250 Mana and has a 7-second cooldown.
Spell 2 Energetic Blow (エネルギッシュなブロー/Enerugisshuna burō)
Spell Type Contact
Spell Description "Charge up the kinetic energy in your fist to deliver a fast and powerful blow to the nearest enemy"
Spell Info The caster’s fist glows bright yellowish green and gives off a trail as they perform a fairly short range, yet lightning fast forward dash punch with that fist. If any enemy is in the short radius, the caster will dash straight towards the closest enemy in the radius. On hit, both the enemy and caster will be slowed dramatically in time for a second before the target is dealt 300 damage and sent flying a short distance away with a 1.5 second trip.
  • It consumes 300 Mana and has a 9-second cooldown.
Spell 3 Hypermotion (ハイパーモーション/Haipāmōshon)
Spell Type Transformation
Spell Description "Increase your body's kinetic energy for a short time, gaining faster movement speed and increased punch power"
Spell Info The caster’s body pieces begin to rapidly vibrate and give off yellowish green trails for 5 seconds. During that time, the caster will move 50% faster, jump twice as high, and deal 50% more damage by punching. They are also immune to stuns for the spell’s duration.
  • It consumes 350 Mana and has an 8-second cooldown after the effect wears off.

Future (フューチャー/Fu~yūchā) is Time's other Subelement. Its color palette replaces the grey and white parts with turquoise and cyan. Its medal would depict the number "2015", with the 5 seemingly morphing into a 6 from the bottom right half.

Spell Info The caster opens a swirling portal to the future that hovers in front of them, which spits out three energy bullets (One 0.3 seconds after the other) that explode upon contact, dealing 95 damage each in fairly small explosions. For the first second after appearing, each bullet flies like any normal projectile at average speed, but after one second, the bullets zoom at instant travel speed toward their destinations.
  • It consumes 200 Mana and has a 5-second cooldown.
Spell 2 Altered Fate (アルタードフェイト/Arutādofeito)
Spell Type Counter
Spell Description "Predict an incoming attack, then immediately punish any nearby attacker"
Spell Info The caster holds their arms out for a brief moment while locked in place. If struck in this state, the caster will take 85% less damage from the hit and vanish, leaving all enemies within a 29 stud radius frozen in time. The caster will then fall from a portal that appears high in the sky above the casting location, standing on top of either a car, a space boulder, or a telephone booth, all of which explode upon impact with the ground. The explosion deals 320 damage while resuming time and knocking enemies away into the air with a 2.5 second trip.
  • It consumes 335 Mana (+15 if a successful use) and has a 10-second cooldown after the spell ends, regardless of whether or not it was used successfully.
